Slough Online CIC – Kehorne giving back
A few years back, members of Kehorne were involved in a ‘big sleep out’ to raise awareness (and money) for those in our community that were without somewhere to call home during the winter months. We did the same thing the following year, and this got us thinking about how we could best use our skills and the business to support charities.
We knew that a website is the most cost-effective way for charities to promote themselves and make the most of any marketing budget they have.
And so ‘Slough Online’ was born, we use our spare capacity to build free and heavily subsidised websites for worthy local charities.

TOGETHER AS ONE
Together As One is a youth-led charity bringing communities ‘together as one’ through training, youth work and creative projects.
UJALA FOUNDATION
In 2021 Kehorne wanted to give a little something back to our community and launched an initiative to help a local not-for-profit organisation who has gone above and beyond to help during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We had our first meeting with the Ujala Foundation (led by Arshad Mehmood) to discuss how we can best help them with a new website and how to make it work better for their charity.
Ujala were the winning entry and were independently judged by Resource Productions CIC and Ramesh Kukar – both of whom have a particularly high local Slough standing and know the charity sector intimately.
ONE SLOUGH
For Kehorne, this is the site that started it all and was our first foray into charity websites. We are delighted to support this worthy cause and continue to sponsor these awards as they help to celebrate the valuable work that people do when they volunteer. This can have a massive impact on the lives of local people and communities.
SLOUGH ANTI-LITTER SOCIETY
This is a group of people who live, work, and/or learn in Slough and want to make a positive difference to the environment and the local community.
They combat the little problems in Slough by bringing people together for Clean-up, Reduce, Re-use and Upcycling events.
Slough Online are helping the site owner with support and updates where anything more technical us causing them problems. We are here to help.
